The Spirit of Victoria is a beautifully crafted 58ft Gaff Rigged Schooner that embodies traditional design. Recognizable by her striking red brick brown sails, she stands out in the bay. With a seating capacity for 45 passengers, the Spirit of Victoria offers regular sailing trips to Table Bay, where guests can bask in the beauty of the surroundings. Onboard, a well-stocked bar awaits, providing a selection of sparkling wine, beer, and refreshing cold drinks.

You are more than welcome to bring your own drinks and refreshments at no extra cost. Onboard bar facility available.
There are various menu options ranging from snack platters, cocktail dishes, lavish dishes, vegetarian options and sushi platters, which can be arranged at an additional cost, with a 2-week notice period.
No BBQ facility, however you are more than welcome to bring a small gas BBQ along, should you wish.
You are more than welcome to arrange your own catering.
A 10% service charge is charged on the food and drinks.
Onboard sound system with Bluetooth connection is available, should you wish to bring your own music.
We have numerous DJs on our supplier list and are happy to facilitate that for you. Cape Town based Singer/Entertainer details available on request.
You are welcome to supply your own DJ, however they will need to bring their own equipment and speakers.
The Spirit of Victoria is equipped with twin 60 Hp diesel engines and a complete sailing rig, offering both power and traditional sailing capabilities. This single-deck sailing vessel features a covered cockpit area, providing shelter and comfort for passengers. Additionally, it includes a bar area and twin marine toilets for added convenience during your voyage.
Typically, the most scenic route for our cruises is from Granger Bay, passing by the iconic Light House and Sea Point, and continuing up to Clifton Beach. Throughout the trip, you'll enjoy breath-taking views of Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles Mountain range. However, depending on the weather and sea conditions, the skipper may choose to explore the entire Table Bay and surrounding areas. Ultimately, the skipper will make the final decision on the route taken.
The cruising time and course are subject to weather conditions and the skipper's discretion. Our top priority is the safety of you and your guests.
